There was a lot of difficulty in getting up and sitting and standing.
Doctors said that the woman, who was suffering from this serious condition for the last seven months, could not even stand for more than 5 minutes. Doctors said that the woman was suffering from a rare condition called bilateral gestational gigantomastia during her pregnancy. This is such a rare disease, in which the tissues of the breast increase. Because of this, they definitely become overweight. Women suffering from this disease have to face many physical problems. According to the information, the woman’s breast surgery lasted for more than 10 hours.

Dr. Mohit Sharma, Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, said that the woman came to us with very large breasts. During the past years, she had three miscarriages. She was suffering from a condition called bilateral gestational gigantomastia during her third pregnancy. During this period, the breast of the woman started growing more rapidly. After struggling with this problem for several months, the woman turned to the hospital. Dr. Sharma says that doing surgery in this case was very challenging. His team performed a mastectomy and free nipple graft, in which the nipples are completely removed from the breast and replaced with skin grafts.

The team thought that any other breast reduction surgery would not work in this case, as it was not possible to maintain the blood supply to the nipples and areola. Dr. Sharma told that during the surgery, the team took the nipple and areola complex as a separate unit and placed thick graft over the reduced breast. Doctors say that this case was very complicated, because it was difficult to stop the bleeding and make the breasts normal. Although this surgery was successful. After the surgery, the health of the woman is also improving and she is able to walk comfortably.
